Ershidin Tursun, an artist in Ruoqiang County in China's Xinjiang, is trying to promote the ancient culture of Loulan.
Loulan was a prosperous settlement built around 2,000 years ago to serve traders transiting through the ancient Silk Road.
The site is today located in the wilderness of Ruoqiang County.
