The fourth water supply pipeline project for Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China was completed on October 17 in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province. In recent years, with the development of new land in the Macao's Cotai District, total water consumption in the SAR has increased. The fourth water supply pipeline means that a dual-line water supply has been accomplished and Macao's increasing demand will be met. The water supply to Macao will increase from 500,000 cubic meters per day to 700,000 cubic meters per day. ?
