Matao village is located at the southernmost end of Wande town, Changqing district, Jinan city. Since 2015, the village has vigorously developed rural tourism and established a tourism cooperative. The cooperative is mainly composed of more than 30 female members with an average age of 35. They are known as the Matao "Rural Girl Group". Through their efforts, Matao village has now become a beautiful leisure village in China.
During the Spring Festival holiday in the year of the tiger, the village welcomed a "special" guest - Alexander Frey, a Swiss post-90s youth. Alex's Chinese name is Fei Teng, and his Chinese friends affectionately call him "Lao Fei" . He loves Chinese food and traditional Chinese culture. This Spring Festival, he came to Matao village to feel the new changes and different festival atmosphere in the countryside of Jinan. And he had a cross-border dialogue with the young people in the village.
