Every December, over 1,000 red-crowned cranes fly across half of China to get through the long winter on the Yancheng Wetland.

Located in east China's Jiangsu Province, Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetland is the largest coastal wetland in the world. Abundant food sources and a moderate climate attract various bird species to the area. It is also home to rare animal species like the milu deer, or Pere David's deer, which was once considered extinct in the country.
