Xiapu is a coastal county in Ningde City of Fujian Province in southeast China. Its 404-kilometer coastline is praised as one of the most beautiful in China.
Stuart, a British vlogger who lives in China, travelled to Xiapu county recently. Whilst there, he enjoyed Xiapu’s charming scenery and experienced the kelp harvest during his journey.
The kelp industry in Xiapu has become a pillar industry and the supporting industries, including the wider tourism and guesthouse industry, also provide employment to many of the locals, giving strong impetus to Fujian's rural revitalization.
