A small device made by a Shanghai-based medical equipment producer could detect COVID-19 in 15 minutes. The device is on display at the Public Health and Epidemic Prevention section at the ongoing China International Import Expo in Shanghai. According to Xu Hao, Chairman of Board of Directors of the company, XLEMENT, the device can detect the S protein of the virus.
